Sound Garden was founded in November 2020 by classical singer, music/voice/stagecraft educator, and writer/creator Kayla Collingwood (www.kaylacollingwood.com).

After completing a Master of Music in Classical Singing in her home country of New Zealand, Kayla then took some time to travel and explore opportunities while continuing to develop her singing. She worked as a nanny in Paris and London for several years, where she developed a passion for all-ages education.

She is now based in Paris, and has returned to the music world full-time - performing, writing, and creating projects based around her mission to share classical music with new (and returning!) audiences.

Sound Garden

Sound Garden's purpose is to bridge the gap between those who have had the opportunity to engage with and develop an appreciation for classical music and those who haven't. Because music is for everyone!

Just like any other art form, classical music is made up of many genres, sub-genres, works from different eras (both historic and modern), works designed or adapted for different contexts, and performers and creators from all walks of life. I would love to help you to discover the music which speaks (sings?) to you!

I'm passionate about developing content and products to guide you along in your listening experiences... at your own pace, no matter where you are on your journey! I've devised digital products, courses, and more based on arts and educational philosophies. As well as the content already created, I'm passionate about meeting specific needs. If you're an individual, music teacher, music organisation representative, family, alien, pet alien, or anyone else with ideas, I'd love to hear from you and see what servies I can offer!

Happy learning and listening!
